WANDA BERRY JOSEPH, RP
I am dedicated to the advancement in the knowledge of parliamentary procedures throughout the metropolitan area. My love for parliamentary law and procedures lead me to serve for two years as appointed Chapter Parliamentarian for the Delta Rho Omega Chapter Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. from 2014-2015. It was at that time I joined a National Association of Parliamentarians as a general member. I continued to serve as advisor to the presiding officer of the chapter to ensure parliamentary procedures contributed to effective meetings by providing assistance with amending governing documents--bylaws and standing rules. A continued interest in a deeper study of parliamentary procedures and a desire to see expansion of rules of order in organizations lead me to further study and obtain Registered Parliamentary credentials with NAP. As Secretary to NYAP the The New York Association of Parliamentarians my focus will be to support the presiding officer and membership with organized and timely meeting information recording and distribution. I am chartering member of PBNY, Parliamentarians of Brooklyn New York. I also hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from St.John’s University and a MBA in Accounting from Long Island University.

JEANNINE HUNTE, PRP
Jeannine Hunte became interested in parliamentary procedure when she became a member of a community service organization in 1999. After attending multiple workshops and trainings, she decided to become a member of the National Association of Parliamentarians® (NAP) to learn more about proper procedure. Jeannine obtained membership in the association in 2018 with a fervent approach to pursuing her credentials with NAP. Within four months of membership, Jeannine became an RP and continued her studies to attain her PRP credentials at the beginning of 2019.
Ms. Hunte not only returns to her organization to provide parliamentary training to members interested in learning proper procedure, she also serves as the parliamentarian for her local chapter. Jeannine is thinking of the future parliamentarians of the world by offering training to middle and high school students who want to run effective meetings as presiders on their school boards.
In addition to parliamentary procedure, Jeannine has been employed as a financial analyst for over 10 years. Her experience as an accountant proved beneficial when she decided to run for the position of Northeastern Regional Financial Secretary of her community service group and won. Weeks after, she was also voted in as the Treasurer of the Pan-Hellenic Council of Greater New York.
